| Bio: | I am originally from Massachusetts, but have lived most of my life in San Diego. I have also lived in Japan and taught English under the JET Programme (Japan Exchange Teaching). I have a B.A. in Modern English Literature and a Certificate in ESL Education from San Diego State University. I was raised Roman Catholic,though recently consider myself a Byzantine Catholic. I have also studied and practiced Zen, as well as Buddhism. I love anything Asian, especially Japanese. And I am a aspiring writer of poetry and fiction. I have also studies Kendo (Japanese fencing/1 kyu) and Aikido (open hand martial art/not ranked). I am interested in everything from sacred to profane. I'm also interested in just about every type of music. I also like art, my favorite artist being Salvador Dali. I also am interested in surrealistic fiction, as well as other types of literature, science fiction, and fantasy. |
